West and his team of researchers conducted a detailed analysis of
1,620 state and federal government Web sites. Among the report’s
findings:• 73 percent of state and federal sites have services that are “fully executable” online, up from 56 percent last year.
Today’s recommended reading is a bit all over the map. There’s something here to please communicators, entrepreneurs, consumers, and probably a half dozen other demographics. Don’t get too used to it, though, because I’m just as likely to get hung up on a single topic tomorrow.

AdAge reports on that the Washington Post has become an early adopter of RSS ads. I’ve seen them in the feeds I subscribe to from the Post and they are done well — easily seen but not obnoxious.
